VIP EVENT | Memory Ball Story + Photography by Tony Centonze As many as 250 people were expected for Saturday’s First Annual Clarksville Memory Ball at Clarksville Country Club, a community-uniting event to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s Disease. Cindy Hancock, Brenda Mendez, Alison Hurt, Michelle Mullins and Will Hendricks were among the principal organizers of the event which functioned as a kickoff party for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in October. The elegantly decorated event featured great food, dancing and socializing, as well as a silent auction. All proceeds from the evening will be going directly to the Alzheimer’s Association, the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
