A pair of gaudy sunglasses, a pink bangle, a Disco 2000 '45. This is Cheap & Plastique, dressing up our decaying world with tawdry glamour. Artists commemorate our brief passage at the present moment and we celebrate them here. Cheap & Plastique loves abandoned cities, Italian sofas, and stiff drinks. We care nothing for legacy. Cheap and Plastique, a magazine devoted to art and ephemera, was created by designer/photographer Christine Navin to give voice and space to artists you won't find in Chelsea or Art Forum, to generate something fantastique and beautify the world for an instant, one glossy page at a time.
