Dinner at the Cossy club where Hardacre’s picked up runner up in the veteran/ vintage class. (6 entries). In all reality everyone got something as the sponsors table was full of items. Headed back home on Sunday. North of Taihape we went across to the TaihapeNapier road then dropped south East to head to Pukeokahu, a solid half hours’ drive East of Taihape to #2 daughter, Jennie’s farm. Last Xmas I took the Cadi there to drive Father Xmas to the local Xmas function at the school which has 7 pupils. Lunch and then we drove the gravel road south down to Utiku. This area is where I have wanted to take the PV rally one day but we have only just started restoring my first new car, a 1970 Datsun Coupe, which has 300,000kms on it. Finally, back home with nearly another 400 miles completed.
