Club Captains Report Many grateful thanks to those who kept reports and events running while I was away.Special thanks to the members who helped to make our Cancer Society fund raising day such a success. The Tea pot rally is being organised by North Otago this year, and they have put forward the weekend before Labour weekend, details as soon as finalised. John Dawson is organising an afternoon run to Mt Akin in November. Either 10th, or if wet 24th. There will be a stop on the way to visit a place that may be a bit different. Meet at the club rooms about 12 ,12 30 and bring your afternoon tea. Note, there is a short stretch of gravel. John also suggested we have a run to Kakanui, stopping at the Oamaru market, continuing on to visit a man who makes interesting handcrafts, and then have a beach bar b que/picnic. This could be a great end of year event? Any thoughts on All Day Bay? But first, the Swap meet this coming Saturday see you there. safe motoring Suzanne. Time to get the car organised we are having a run on Sunday 10th November. Leave the club rooms at 1pm sharp . We are heading out to Waihaorunga to Vanessa Powells to look at her Paverpol Creations. Then will head onto Meghan & Bob Suttons at Mount Aitken Station . Where Bob will talk to us about their farm past and present . And we will also have afternoon tea. If the weather is against us , it will be the following weekend the 24th November . There's always the option of stopping at the Forks Hotel on your way back to town. Fords for Ever John Dawson
