Club Captains Report The long awaited “Three Passes Three Gorges “ run finally started on Saturday 16th in lovely fine weather. We negotiated the Waimate gorge, Meyers and Hakataramea Passes with no more than a few minor problems, and stopped for lunch at the Cattle Creek hall. A lovely clean welcoming place for thirty members and friends to enjoy their break. After lunch the ten cars, Vintage and modern, continued on to the Mackenzie pass, Paereora and Otaio Gorges, and so home after a day of great scenery, good weather, and the thought of doing it all again next year. Weather permitting of course! Thanks must go to Steve Cutler for doing the ground work so many months ago. Hope you can make it again next year. We have nothing in the planning stages for next month except for the A G M please make a note of this and attend, as the nominations for club positions will be voted on. I will say that it is becoming frustrating to see the same members struggling on when there are others quite able to do more. At the very least an offer of help could go a long way. Drive Safe.
