9-90’s REPORT Well, we have had our first outing for the year. What a cracker! A lovely day, a very interesting route to the venue and the destination a dream: a garden for the ladies and a garage full of vintage cars, pre 1920 American cars, many of them never seen in New Zealand. A Sizaire Naudin, one of two left in the world. A Minerva, the size of a Sherman tank. A few of the names I remember: Moon, Kutz, Detroiter, Pierce Arrow, Edzel, Davis. The mind boggles. And then there was the workshop any mechanic would be proud of! Last, but not least, the Garden. Many of the ladies admired the beauty of it. 16 acres, a bit much for me! Thank you Kelvin, for sharing all this with us and thank you also to Grant Lomax and Graeme Sword for organising the outing for us. Between 40 and 50 cars took part. The sun shone as we had lunch in part of the garden.
