Many people think that, unlike cats and dogs, rabbits and small rodents require less care and attention. It is not true: they are sensitive, smart, lively, affectionate and with a distinctive behaviour. They require affection, play, qualified veterinary care and a specific diet, which is essential to preserve them healthy. With the evolution of veterinary medicine and the specialization on exotic animals, the life expectancy of rabbits and small rodents has significantly increased. At the same time, deeper knowledge of their digestive physiology helped discover a close connection between correct nutrition and good health. Customized diet In order to provide the correct nutritional intake, it is essential to pay attention to the different needs of rabbits and small rodents by using specific products, which comply with the most recent nutritional studies and suit the pets’ digestive differences.
