I currently work as an account manager at Hay Group, a global human resources consulting firm, in Center City Philadelphia. At Hay Group, my clients are Human Resources professionals mainly at chemicals and energy companies, and I ensure they are happy with and well-trained on our products. My bachelor’s degree is in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from the University of Delaware, where I also received a minor in Spanish Studies. Previously I worked in the hospitality field in restaurants, hotels and even a catering hall, but I ultimately decided that I lacked the passion to give up all my nights, weekends and holidays for the rest of my life, so I decided to pursue a different path. I love to travel, and have spent extensive amounts of time in Spain; first studying abroad, and then teaching English. I also am very active, and spend lots of time each week running, biking around the city, doing yoga or going to the gym. Once I receive my MBA, I either hope to move into a consulting role at Hay Group, or I hope to re-enter the hospitality field as an HR professional in the corporate headquarters of a hotel group. t
