This action packed movie, released in 2006, is the 21st Bond film produced but the first with Englishman Daniel Craig as 007 and is one of my all time favourites. Bond is working on one of his first assignments in Uganda to spy on a terrorist but things don’t go to plan which leave Bond deciding to continue investigating independently from the Agency. His findings take him to the Bahama’s where he learns of the mysterious Le Chiffre, banker to worldwide terrorists. James must thwart the efforts of Le Chiffre by entering a high stakes poker game with the assistance of the Agency’s Vesper Lynd (played by Eva Green), who holds the purse-strings for Bond’s betting. With twists and turns in amazing settings, this is fantastic Sunday night viewing! Editor’s Note: I am a huge Bond fan, and when Daniel Craig was announced, I couldn’t see it, but he is now my favourite Bond. Sorry Pierce...
