Shepperton’s Green Goddess is Back on TV Loved and remembered by many for her fetching green leotard as she took on the role as the original TV fitness guru,, local legend Diana Moran is back on TV, this time learning to cook Italian food. “A Celebrity Taste of Italy” features five well known faces. Actors Ian Lavender and Rula Lenska, travel reporter Judith Chalmers, TV mathematician Johnny Ball and fitness guru Diana Moran learn about the culture and cuisine of Tuscany. In the first episode shown on Channel 5 on September 29th, the celebs settle into their villa before helping prepare a classic Italian lunch featuring chicken liver pate, bread, cheese and fresh vegetables. While Rula, Ian and Judith enjoy the sights of the medieval town of Corton, Johnny and Diana procure items for their next meal. Judith, Johnny and Rula are then seen fishing for carp and tench on Lake Trasimeno, allowing Rula the chance to flirt with a local fisherman. This surely can’t be considered work! This is a series of four so if you miss the first one you can catch the rest on Channel 5 Fridays at 9pm. It was apparently lots of fun. I wonder why?!
