8:00 Pick up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer by car to My Tho to board a motorboat and travel along the Bao Dinh canal lined with stilt-houses and fruit plantations. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market and Turtle Island then eat lunch served in the heart of an orchard. Relax and enjoy the boat ride through Tan Tach canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of water coconut trees. Visit family businesses and learn about the agricultural lifestyle. Walk through the fruit plantations on Thoi Son island and take rowboats along the various creeks before returning to My Tho by rowboat. Car transfer to Can Tho and check in to your hotel.

Depart Nha Trang on the morning flight to Da Nang. Check in at your hotel in Hoi An and have lunch at rétaurant, then take a walking tour of the ancient town center and visit historic merchants' homes, the 400 year-old Japanese covered bridge and the colorful, bustling market. AM: Drive from Hoi An to Hue across the famous Hai Van pass and stopping to visit Lang Co beach. Visit the Imperial Museum that houses many valuable artefacts related to the Imperial city before leaving to see the tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. AM: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Onepillar pagoda near historic Ba Dinh Square, then move on to the Temple of Literature UNESCO World Heritage site, the first University in Vietnam established in 1076. Have lunch in one of Hanoi's famous restaurants then visit the Museum of Ethnology and take a cyclo ride around the Old Quarter, visiting Dong Xuan market. Our car and driver will pick you up at 8.00am at your hotel in Hanoi and take you to scenic Ha Long Bay, arriving around 12:00 noon. At the port of Ha Long, our crew will welcome you on board the Dragon Pearl Junk to enjoy a welcome drink and check into your cabin. A seafood lunch will be served and at 13:00 a 3.5 hour cruise in Halong Bay will begin, visiting the amazing limestone karsts including the Mat Qui (monster's face), But Moc, and Cap De islets; the Trong (Drum) and Trinh Nu caves, and the unique way of life in a floating fishing village, ending with the chance to explore the Luon cave from 16:40 to 17:30. There will be plenty of time for swimming and sun bathing as well as enjoying a great sunset dinner and relaxing under the starlit sky before retiring to the comfort of your cabin. The quiet is almost eerie; the birds singing and cicadas chirping onshore, along with the gentle lapping of the waves against the boat, provide the perfect soundtrack to accompany the sense of calm and the fresh, gentle breezes. Explore the Sung Sot (Amazing) cave from 8.00 to 9:00 then swim and relax at Titop beach. A brunch buffet will be served on the return cruise from 10:30 to 11:30, arriving back at the harbor by noon for the drive back to Hanoi. Check in at the hotel and have the evening free.
