At the same time, you will get the possibility to apply some of it, while working in the workshop on maintenance and repairing machines as a part of the daily routines at the farm. - Guillermo, teacher
PHOTOSYNTHESIS & RESPIRATION
Finally, the students will understand how these different photosynthetic strategies can be introduced into a given production system in order to increase system resilience and the utilization of photosynthetic active radiation (PAR).
Duration 2,5 days. Evaluation and grade is given upon completion as passed/not passed. This course will give a thorough understanding of the three different plant photosynthetic strategies and their respiration: C3 C4 and CAM.
Further, we will consider climatic changes and the adaptation of each photosynthetic strategy to cope with higher temperatures.
We will unravel their evolutionary development and geographical distribution.
