01 BLANK

This specialty retail store in South Beach, Miami aims to produce an environment to inspire the creativity of their clients. Just as the surfboard intersects the water’s surface, the theme of intersection is continued into the interior, as spaces intersect each other through the wall to ceiling feature and the mezzanine. The bold form of the wave feature creates a memory throughout the store. The constant reminder of the ocean’s wave inspires action and adventure, which forces all consumers become a part of the experience.

Digital Wall Structure The bold movements and formations of the ocean’s wave inspire architectural features within the interior.

02 SPOTIFY

The design of this satellite Spotify office, located in Washington, DC, reflects a user-defined space that expresses the company’s unique culture and values. Influenced by the well-known motto “soundtrack your life with Spotify”, the design for this office is inspired by the unique form of a soundwave. The repetition of the push and pull elements influences the design of the overall space. In this music appreciated enviornment, users need the oppoturnity to have flexible spaces that adapt to their various daily tasks.

The Steelcase Big Campfire Table allows for maximum communication and collaboration in a relaxed atmosphere.

Private focus rooms, with treadmill desks and individual work stations, allow employees to be active and work independently.

The Haworth Hoop Table is a unique addition to the lounge meeting space, providing alternative seating options.

The Teknion Qui lounge seating is a perfect breakout spot for informal meetings and impromptu “jam sessions.

The Steelcase MediaScape table brings technology and information together, creating the ideal meeting environment.

The flooring is used as a feature within the space. The soundwave inspired form serves as both a wayfinder and an acoustic treatment.

03 PIONEER*

*Haworth Award for Design Excellence This co-working office located in Roanoke, Virginia is inspired by the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just as the parkway blends into its natural landscape, this space molds into its historic structure. The design delivers a juxtaposition between new and old; where history can merge with contemprorary style. The floor layout is anchored by the circular path and slatted wooden structure, which enhances the outdoor feeling and resembles the view seen through trees when driving on the parkway. 3’ 0” 2’ 8”

Custom Reception Desk Drawings

Section 1 This area provides the ideal atmosphere for any startup company. Although designed with an increased level of privacy, the space continues to receive the benefits of a co-working site.

The work cafe allows for interaction and communication, ultimately creating a social and welcoming environment for collaboration.

The open office plan allows for daily members to have their own personal space with the necessary flexibiliity.

Each private office has a different design and layout, catering to the needs of various workers.

The reception area’s lounge is hinged on the hospitality model, which reinforces the office’s focus on community.

During the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to work at Patrik Lonn Design, a high end residential interior design firm headquartered in New York, NY. Here, I collaborated with the senior and junior designers, while managing the firm’s Glascock project; a $4 million apartment renovation in Manhattan.
