Victoria Hall is a gorgeous 19th Century Grade II listed venue in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire. It’s a beautiful building in a very special village, and has been a hub for learning, events and celebrations since it opened in 1871. We’ve five wonderful, bright and spacious rooms with breath-taking architecture - we regularly hear ‘Oh, wow’. Our venue has the flexibility to host everything from small meetings for a handful of people to larger events for 350 with ample additional rooms for workshops, seminars or welcome drinks. We can accommodate up to 180 for a sit down meal. When it comes to doing something a little bit special for an event, that’s our forté From staff away-days to birthdays, conferences to community events, TV & film locations to festivals, we treat each with the same care, warmth and attention.

Here’s how this works – once it’s all arranged, we’ll still give you a call a day or two before your event to check everything’s okay and to see if we can do any more to help. Then, when you arrive, we’ll have a couple of key things waiting; your ‘Event Essentials’ box, full of the bits & bobs we know can be forgotten when you get to a venue, and that crucial cup of tea or coffee (with a few treats alongside) to get you started…
Other than a pride in our work (and the buzz we personally get from seeing events go well), we have a vested interest in the success of your event. It means a lot to us, and we know your success and ours are interlinked. All the income we make goes directly back into keeping our historical venue alive, so while you’re organising that event to delight your visitors or guests, you’re also supporting Victoria Hall for future generations.

They’ve been chosen for their excellent products and brilliant customer service. More details are included within this brochure. Alternatively, you’re welcome to bring in your own suppliers.*

CATERING & DRINKS We can provide lovely filter coffee, teas and snacks for your event, and our wonderful recommended caterers provide a variety of menus. Our in-house bar has a wide range of drinks, including real ale (we know how important that is!) and we always try to meet specific requests. AV Chat with us to discuss your audio visual requirements for your event. parking Alas, when Sir Titus Salt built Saltaire, he didn’t bless us with our own car park, but there are numerous parking options nearby – you’ll find more details on our website.
WIFI There is free WiFi throughout the venue. Please ask for details. accomodation We have an arrangement with a fabulous nearby hotel, with discounts on block bookings. public events If you want to promote your event at Victoria Hall to the public, we have a range of free opportunities including website listing, monthly newsletter and social media promotion.
Visiting Victoria Hall GETTING HERE Getting here is easy. Saltaire is 15 minutes away from Leeds and Bradford by train, and a short drive from the M62. Regular buses run in the area.
THE SALT FOUNDATION Victoria Hall is managed by Shipley College on behalf of the Salt Foundation, a charitable Trust.

The Salt Foundation look after the venue as an integral part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire.
ACCESSIBILITY All floors are accessible by a lift, with flat level access to toilets on the ground and first floors.
