MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE OFFICERS & DIRECTORS OF CAPE ORLANDO COMMUNITY ASSOC IAT ION HELD ON THE 2ND DAY OF SEPT -MBER, I977 , AT 801 MAJESTIC, ORLANDO, FLORIDA.
A meetfng of ~he Officers and Directors of Cape Orlando Community Assocaition was held on September 2, 1977, at 801 Majestic Orlando, Florida. Those present to wit: Ina E. Watson, Tom O'Neill Ray Rivera & Tim Westerman representing a majority of the Officers and Dfrectors. In the absence of the President and Vice-President, the meeting was cal led to order by the Secretary - Tres., Mrs. Watson who stated that the purpose of the special meeting was to discuss the letter of resignation of the President, B. G. Smith. A motion was made and carried that the resignation of r. Smith be accepted as of July 17, 1977. A motion was made by Tom O'Ner I I to elect a Pro tem Chairman at this time. Nominations were Ray Rivera and Tfm WesterlO n. Mr. Rivera declined and Mr. Westerman was appointed as Pro tem Chairman. The meeting was then turned over to Mr. Westerman who ask the Secy - Tres. to read the minutes of the meeting of July 15, 1977. A motion was made and carried that the minutes be adopted as read. Next order of business to come before the Board was the letter that was drafted to Mr. Jack Martin, Chairman of the Orange County Commissfoners. After discussion, it w s agreed that the letter be written but held for signature unti I a new president could be elected. A motion was made and carried that the next meeting be held Friday, September 9th, 1977, at 7:30 PM. There being no further business to come before the Association, the meeting was adjourned.
