A Night at the Cinema
The New Zealand University Games is the Flagship University Sporting event in New Zealand. It is one of the largest annual multi-sport events in New Zealand. In April, 2500 students from all around the country will converge on Wellington to compete in this event. Competition will be in 11 ‘sports’, including touch, football, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, lawn bowls and debating! See VUWSA’s website for more info on how to get involved.
Tomorrow evening we will be screening ‘Love Birds’ - a New Zealand comedy featuring Rhys Darby. This is a quirky, funny love story about a man, a woman and... a duck. Light snacks will be provided, but bring something to share if you would like!
Fri 23 Mar - Lunchtime Concert: ‘Bis! Bis!’ Bis! Bis!” is Italian for ‘Again! Again! - Encore!’ This concert is a showcase ‘encore’ featuring NZSM students who did particularly well in their Classical Performance assessment recitals. This will be an inspiring concert from seven highly accomplished young musicians.
