This project was a study of the organization of a semiprivate bath house and spa. Focused on the individual experience of the spa, this meandering complex leads each user into their own unique meditative changing space before they enter the main bathing areas. Each individual space plays with the building materials and light differently to add to the uniqueness of the experience.

FACADE AND PLAN DESIGN
Main Floor Plan Facade Elevation Pen and water color
Mezzanine Floor Plan
The facade and plan design was a quick two week project where I developed a facade and subsequently organized a set program for the American Folk Art Museum in New York City. My design incorporated the idea of parallel structure contrasted by non-orthagonal play in between.
CLIFTON LITERARY CENTER
First Floor Plan
Second Floor Plan
The Clifton Literary Center was the final project for the Fall 2012 Semester. I developed a program and design based on the idea that the library today is a place to come together, learn, and grow through the melding of different media. The floor plans and elevations were created in AutoCAD and then rendered in Photoshop.

The Van Wyk Residence is a residence remodel and addition I was involved with while working at Thomas Deatherage Architect in Bend, OR. I had the opportunity to be very involved in the project. I worked directly with the client and contractor, created and edited most of the construction drawings on AutoCAD, researched materials and specifications, and worked with the county on permit submittal.

Working primarily on the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and Medical Center team at GBBN Architects, I had the opportunity to collaborate with coworkers to produce Revit based Construction Documents and Sketchup models for Schematic Design and client meetings. The projects mainly consisted of the renovation and reprograming of existing hospital space.

6 Color Version
This was an exploration in color to familiarize us with the interaction of different colors and challenge us to decide what colors are critical to create and image. I analyzed the colors in a photograph and then recreated the contoured image in Adobe Illustrator using 6 colors in both a polychromatic and monochromatic version. I chose to use an image I took of a door hinge on the Cincinnati Music Hall.
UNIT SPACIAL CONSTRUCTION
In this project, my studio of 20 students designed spacial constructions from a unit that we developed. After the units were produced, we constructed multiple spaces to show the potential of our unit. My studio created a simple unit of aluminum, bent at 30 degrees on each end, and connected with button head screws. Throughout this project I had the opportunity to head the shop team during both the development of the different iterations and the mass production of our final piece.
