Solution Viatran developed a robust 249/349 pressure transducer series to survive these harsh environmental conditions found in rocket/jet engine pressure measurement applications. The 249/349 series is IP67 rated, hermetically sealed, welded design with environmentally protected Zero and Span pots to survive water spray engine test. The Viatran 249/349 series was designed with denser body and fully potted electronics to improve long term stability, low sensitivity to mechanical shock and vibration and thermal shock.
