Meet our Partners:
HE Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Norway President of Małopolska Tourism Organisation Director of the International Office of the Polish Tourism Organisation in Stockholm and LOT Polish Airlines Sales Manager Norway have the pleasure of inviting you to a meeting with the Kraków tourist sector. If you haven’t tasted the Kraków Obwarzanek and Oscypek goat cheese straight from Zakopane, you have another reason to join us for breakfast. Other than explaining what they have for breakfast, representatives of our tourist sector will reveal why Kraków and Małopolska are exceptional destinations, and demonstrate the practical sense of Polish hospitality. Your business card may become the ticket to taste Krakow breakfast during the weekend stay in the region! Join us in Moller meeting room - Oslo Congress Center at 08:30 am on 12th January 2023 and start a successful day with us!
Taste the gourmet heritage of the city of kings, the region of castles, of manors of the nobility, and of simple peasant cottages. Kraków and Małopolska have meticulously retained the culinary delights of them all. What makes Małopolska a treasure trove of delicacies is the wide variety of local cooking traditions that have come to the city and region over the centuries with the people arriving here. There were also the monasteries that adjusted their menus to the seasons and religious practices. Their libraries are a source of delicious recipes, including for liqueurs and infusions. But traditional recipes, such as the shepherd’s own Oscypek cheese and Obwarzanki (Kraków bagels), have also survived and we’re very glad to share them with our visitors. We may draw from them directly, but we also continue to innovate, offering plenty of fusion and experimental cuisines. Obviously, we have eliminated the delicacies of bygone days that are quite untoward today. You wouldn’t eat beaver’s tails, would you? Welcome to Krakow&Malopolska if you want a taste of what we have in store for you – whether in restaurants or in food trucks, hotels or bed&breakfasts, and at special gourmet workshops and fairs.

MALOPOLSKA VOIVODESHIP www.wideopen.travel
The Malopolska Region enchants visitors with its diversity. Thanks to numerous monuments and museums, as many as eight items on the List of World Cultural and Natural Heritage of Humanity, and beautiful historic cities, its contribution to the cultural heritage of Poland and Europe is unquestionable. The real pearl on the Malopolska UNESCO Route is, of course, the historic centre of Krakow. A visitor to the Malopolska Region is lead here by many thematic routes through the world of culture and traditions dating back to the Middle Ages. This route runs through places where the history of Poles, Jews, and Lemkos has intertwined. The winter capital of the region is Zakopane. The city, beautifully located in a Tatra mountains basin, is the cradle of Polish mountain tourism.
