I ’ m Ve r o n i c a

My goal as a photographer is to create a unique experience as you finish your high school career. I want to help you choose the perfect location, guide you to pick the perfect outfit and help make your vision a reality. Senior Sessions are all about YOU and your accomplishements. This book will guide you through the whole process.

let's get started

The first step is to choose your Session. I’m a firm believer in printing your photos so a majority of my collections include prints, but there are also digital options.

Email me what session you have decided on and what month you would like your shoot to be.

I will send over a contract (to be signed by a parent/guardian) and non refundable retainer information.

Approximate start time Winter

December- March 3-5 p.m. During December to March you can plan on your session taking place around 3-5 p.m.. However the time changes in Mid-March and so that will make the start time one hour later.

Jun-August 6:30-8:30 p.m. Summer session, take place 1-2 hoursbefore sunset. This will hopefully mean that the shoot will be during the cooler part of the day.

April- May time varies The sunset time drastically changes throughout the course of these two months and so our shooting time changes as well.

September-November Time varies The sunset time drastically changes throughout the course of these two months and so our shooting time changes as well.

Logistics •I love shooting at gorgeous locations. I recommend two locations max for sessions. A general rule of thumb is the more locations and outfits, the less images but the more variety you’ll have. • I can do sunrise sessions if necessary. I require sunrise shoots for those who want to take portraits in very crowded locations. • I love to travel for shoots! (location fee may apply if more than 30 miles outside of El Paso)

Outfit tips

I want you feeling and looking your absolute best during your session. Here are some tips and reminders: Plan your outfits 2 weeks in advance! Wear clothes you are comfortable in & that flatter your body. Make sure your clothes are ironed the night before. Don’t be afraid to wear color (but NO neons) Wear layers & accesories. (jackets, vests, scarves, necklaces etc.) Please do NOT WEAR strapless. Avoid Logos or Graphics on shirts or blouses. Make sure your wear (nude) undergarments that don’t show. If your session allows bring a variety of clothes. (jeans, dresses, rompers) I want to make your vision come a reality, please let me know if you want to bring props to your session. Props can include balloons, confetti, cap & gown, instrument, graduation sign, floral crown, book etc. Please send me an email if you have questions regarding outfits.

nails hair

Neutral colors will match various outfits.

A well timed color + trim can keep root growth and split ends from ruining a great photo.

Drink lots of water in the weeks leading up to your session for healthy, glowing skin

There is a big difference in “everyday makeup” and “camera ready makeup.” If you are able I would recommend getting your makeup professionally done. If NOT make sure you go a little bolder with your makeup.

n o i t a c o L My goal is to take you to places that fit YOU! There are many beautiful locations to have your senior session. Your senior session location should also reflect who you are. Here are some ideas for locations:

Frequently asked questions How do I book?

First, decide which collection is best for you. Next, contact me (email usually works best) to find a date and time for your session. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 secures your session date and time.

who will be at the session?

Your beautiful self, a parent or guardian, and of course I’ll be there too. Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian with them. If we travel to another location you will need to provide your own transportation. You are welcome to bring a friend that makes you laugh and feel at ease.

when will i see my photos?

I will post a sneak-peek of your session on a social media platform or on my website blog. Your finished edited photos will be finished about two weeks after our session. If you need photos sooner to meet some sort of deadline a $75.00 fee will be applied.

when is my payment due?

Your total payment is due the day of the session.

what type of payment do you take?

You can pay with cash, check or credit card.

s e d DuOutfit tips Who says guys can’t enjoy senior portraits? My vision is to make you feel at ease and of course give you quality photos that will last a lifetime. Next time you walk by a store you’ll notice the male mannequins and models are always wearing several layers at once. Layers on guys look great on camera, so even when its hot outside, it is worth the hour or two of discomfort for photos that will last a lifetime. Adding a layer brings another dimension and visual interest to your photos. Blazers, vests and coas up the level for any look. It’s all about the details. Ties, pocket squares, colored socks, belts, tie clips, watches etc. are sharp compliments to any outfit. You can mix and match accesories to compliment your outfits without doing a full change during the session.

Outfit tips (continued)

Still Not sure what to wear, here are some ideas: Make sure you plan your outfit/s 1-2 weeks in advance.

Wear Clothes that you are comfortable in. Wear clothes that fit your personality. Wear your jersey or letterman. Wear layers. Guys can also accesorize, wear a watch or a hat!

bring props such as an instrument or a football to your session. Still not sure what to wear. Bring several outfits to your session and I will help pick an outfit that photographs best.
