NOTEBOOK BASKETBALL - The Steve Nash Youth Basketball program for boys and girls in Grades 2-7, runs Fridays from 5:30-7 p.m. starting Oct. 7. $100 registration fee includes basketball and jersey. FLOOR HOCKEY - Recreation Services is holding floor hockey sessions Tuesday nights from 5:30-6:30 for 7-9-year-olds, and from 6:45-7:45 for 9-11-year-olds, starting Sept. 27 in the Dogwood Gym. Call 5456035 or register at rec centre. HOCKEY - Youth recreational daytime shinny hockey is starting up again in Salmon Arm. The program, in its third year, has players from Vernon, Enderby, Salmon Arm and Chase. Though many who attend the program are home-schooled, some kids 10+ attending public school also join in. Ice times are Thursday afternoons from 1:30-2:45, for 16 weeks, from October to March. Call Lyle @ 250-515-3937.
