ANDERSON STUDENT CENTER

Tommie Central is your one-stop shop in the Anderson Student Center. Tommie Central offers tickets to on-campus events, discounted movie theater tickets and discounted tickets to various attractions throughout the Twin Cities. Students also may rent lockers and outdoor recreation equipment from Tommie Central. For your convenience, Tommie Central accepts all forms of payment, including eXpress.

FANAMANIAC

The Bowling Center offers four lanes for open play, organized league play, shuffleboard and pinball for your enjoyment. Bowling may be reserved through Tommie Central, which accepts all forms of payment, including eXpress. Student bowling prices are $3 per game and $2 for shoe rental.

WOW: WHAT’S ON THIS WEEKEND

STAR is the student programming board for the university. We are allocated 60 percent of the student activity fee and use that money to plan programs in the areas of lectures, music, entertainment, recreational activities, community building, cultural celebrations and various special events. All STAR events are open to all undergraduate students.

FANAMANIAC is a program designed to build school spirit on campus and encourage students to support their fellow student athletes. FANAMANIAC plans multiple events at on-campus athletic activities, including contests during games, free food and free Tommie gear. If you enjoy sports, or are looking for something to do, check out the numerous FANAMANIAC events sponsored by STAR.

Located on the first floor of the ASC. This gaming area has a variety of options for students, including ping pong, foosball, air hockey, Wii, PS3 and Xbox. Equipment for play is available at Tommie Central with a valid UST student ID.

Commuter permits are on sale beginning at 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19. Resident lottery forms must be returned to the Parking Services office by 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26 and resident permits must be purchased by Friday, Sept. 6. Public Safety will begin ticketing for “no valid permit” in all lots starting Sunday, Sept. 8. For additional information, please contact the Parking Services Office at (651)962-7275.

This convenience store accepts eXpress, cash, checks or credit cards for any type of purchase. When you are on the go, stop in the grocery area that includes fresh produce, premade salads, sandwiches, chips, candy, cookies, coffee and other beverages. You also will find necessities like pencils, batteries, cough syrup and more. Flex dollars may only be used to purchase food items.

All UST registered students, faculty and staff must have a Tommie eXpress Card as identification to access buildings, check out library materials, use public computer labs, access the athletic facilities, ride the intercampus shuttle, purchase a parking permit, cash checks and carry out other business on campus. Students also may open or add money to their eXpress accounts, which are debit plan spending accounts used for making purchases on and off campus.
