Have you fallen in love with Vermont wines yet? Visit three idyllic vineyards on the shores of Lake Champlain, meet the growers and vintners, and taste their awardwinning creations. Enjoy the comfort of world-class tasting rooms and take a behind the scenes look at each winery. Full-day tour includes transportation and lunch at the vineyard.

The Intervale is home to 14 independent small farms that produce over 550,000 pounds of fresh fruits, vegetables and poultry annually—all within Burlington city limits!

Want to experience the connection between taste and place firsthand while exploring the bucolic Vermont countryside? Visit dynamic farms committed to producing the healthiest food imaginable. Heart of the Islands is an annual bike ride through the Lake Champlain Islands held the second weekend of July. The tour offers cyclists of all levels the opportunity to explore Champlain Island farms, art studios, food venues, and vineyards during a leisurely (and spectacular) 10, 24, or 35-mile ride. “Fun farms, great art, free local treats and beautiful biking—it really doesn’t get much better!”

The smell of boiling sap and wood smoke is enough to make you want to stay forever… and you haven’t even tasted the syrup yet! Learn about the magic and finesse required to turn maple sap into syrup with sugarers known for traditional techniques and environmental stewardship. Hike or snowshoe through the sugarbush and learn how to tap a maple tree if the season permits. Take home a fresh bottle of syrup.

Vermont is famous for its cheese. And for good reason: behind Vermont’s award-winning cheeses are inspired farmers, idyllic pastures, and innovative approaches to cheesemaking. The Artisan Cheese Tour emphasizes the unique personalities, herds, and landscapes that produce an astonishing array of cheeses. Each stop will include a discussion with the cheesemaker and tasting. Be sure to save room for the local picnic lunch!
