Successes Stories The Programme for decentralised cooperation between the Region Lower Normandy and Republic of Macedonia is constantly showing the commitment of both territories in developing opportunities for international cooperation while promoting the local governance by reinforcement of local authorities’ capacities to implement decentralisation. The international perspective, in the form of decentralised cooperation between the European region (Lower Normandy) and a Balkan Republic (Macedonia) has produced a decisive increase in the presence of local governments and the associations on the international scene of global sustainable development.
