5 Saddle To adjust the timing of the saddles and the gap between them, select ‘Saddle’ in the ‘Settings’ menu and open the saddle setting.

Figure 5.1 The ‘Encoder’ windows show the position of the saddle both in points and in millimetres. The ‘Encoder’ measures 173 points in each mm. All saddles in the machine can be calibrated by selecting ‘Start saddle calibration’.
