couple of quick right hand turns we were on a stock route which we followed to the valley floor. This rejoined the Akaroa Highway at Little River with a right hand turnoff to the Tai Tapu Hotel. At ‘The Tap’ we enjoyed some ploughman’s platters, a Fanta or two to wash away any dust, and a good yarn to round out the day.
Although the number of entries were very low this year, everyone that entered enjoyed the day. Next year’s run will follow a similar touringtype format with few instructions and start stops.
