Software AG holds Leadership Symposium Software AG has recently hosted an Executive Leadership Symposium in Riyadh, attended by C-level executives from Saudi Arabia’s most prominent organizations in the public and private sectors. Software AG Executive Leadership Symposium, is designed specifically for decisions makers and demonstrates how Software AG can help local organizations to quickly and efficiently differentiate themselves while leveraging existing IT investments. Several senior Software AG executives, including Nicky Sheridan, Senior Vice President – Middle East, Africa and Turkey; Thomas Stoesser, Director BPM Product Marketing; and Serge Owona, Middle East Delivery Manager, conducted insightful presentations during the symposium about the enterprise solutions, services and strategic plans of Software AG in Saudi Arabia and in the Gulf region. SAP MENA appoints new Head of Ecosystem and Channels SAP MENA has announced the appointment of SherifHamoudah as its new Head of Ecosystem and Channels. Reporting directly to Sam Alkharrat, Managing Director, SAP MENA, Hamoudah will play a significant role in supporting SAP’s ambitious expansion in the region. He will also serve as Head of Telecoms. MazenJabri, Hamoudah’s predecessor, has taken on a newly created role to lead channel and ecosystem development in Saudi Arabia, SAP MENA’s largest market. The appointment of Hamoudah, who has over 25 years’ experience in the region’s IT and telecoms industries, is a clear demonstration of SAP’s determination to develop its channel partner relationships and capabilities across an ever-growing ecosystem. A strong emphasis will be placed on catalyzing emerging innovations such as analytics, mobility, cloud and inmemory computing. Hamoudah joins SAP from market-leading mobile communications pioneers Acision, where he served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Sales and Marketing, managing a 160-sales and marketing team. “Sherif is a fantastic new addition to our MENA team, and his proven track-record will be invaluable as we seek to expand and solidify our ecosystem and channel capability,” ” said Sam Alkharrat, MD, SAP MENA.
