2 MUSIC MOVIES : CRITICISM!!!! Nowadays watching movies has become a trend. But do you know what actually a movie is? I think a maelstrom has come up in your mind. I will answer this. A movie is a sequence of still or moving images which are produced by recording photographic images using cameras or by using animations and giving them visual effects. The movie or a film naturally reflects culture of a place, religion or a person. It neither only reflects the culture but also transforms it. I would like to espouse my thoughts over this topic. It has become very difficult to link the movies of ancient times to those of the present twenty first century. Along with the titles the trailers are like the dynamites. The violent as well as destructive acts in the movies just unearth the unnecessary enthusiasm of the teenagers and other small kids and induce them to perform the dangerous stunts and unfortunately they are injured. The static society has started becoming dynamic very rapidly. The new generation has become very stubborn to accept the Indian culture. I don’t completely say to ban the movies but they should maintain the decency and mortality of the content which shall have a positive impact on the people. The language used is so immoral that one could experience goose bumps. The lyrics of the songs have become meaningless but there are exceptions. The moral values have lost their original smell. The songs have become very unrealistic and they just play with the emotions. And if all

these things are released on the television, how should one react? The miserable characters also have an adverse effect on the mindset of the people. The teens form their own world of fantasy and are lost somewhere whenever they are encountered. The economical condition of the country could be made more stabilized if this money is utilized for the welfare of the people. The money is wasted in meaningless posters, sets, crew and many more other elements. To escape this expenditure doesn’t mean to completely discard the provision of movies and songs for entertainment. We can also get some good advices to develop our own as well as other’s personality. I hope the film “3 idiots” has changed your views about studies and life. “Zindagi na milegi dobara” has told us to enjoy every second of our life. I would like to draw up the conclusion. Movies also help us in numerous ways but it depends upon the person’s attitude towards the thought expressed in the movie. The patriotic films are meant to develop love towards the country and not to go towards violence. The comedy but descent movies help us to be happy. The worst part lies in the exposure of adult movies on the idiot box (television). This shall be paid attention on and no romantic scenes shall be displayed which shall have no adverse effect on the society because “PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE”.

View The internet is recently one of the fastest, most convenient ways for people tocommunicate with other people around the world. Social networking sites have enabled people to create their own world online. Social networking is a phenomenon that has taken the world by storm over the last decade. Ever since the invention of social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and the newly introduced Google+, millions of people have been able to update people about their whereabouts, meet new friends, reconnect with old ones, post blogs, and upload videos and pictures. Social networking sites create a comfortable atmosphere, in which people can have access to the virtual world anytime when they are at home, travelling or at work. It is inevitable that throughout life, we meet different people. Once we start to lose contact with them questions arise and we begin to wonder: Why did we stop talking to one another? Where has he/she been? What does he/she look like now? How has he she been? Or, what would our relationship be like if I had kept in contact with him/her? Thanks to social networking sites, those questions don’t have to go unanswered. Social networking sites have become a part of our daily routine and will only continue to expand. These sites are like playground where people can find things to do. For example, for people who have time to spare, they are probably good places for them to spend (& probably waste!) their time. A person who is willing to communicate with a near or dear one living miles apart can do so in breathless point time. The Reliance tag line says – “karlo
duniya muthi mein” and we have actually been able to do so. We can have access to people on the other side of the planet within seconds and the whole world becomes small. A mother in India sees a photo of her daughter, who moved to the U.S. years ago and has not returned home. A small business increases sales considerably after posting a single advertisement on a networking site. These sites break our monotonous lives as they provide us with innumerable fascinating and entertaining applications which are worth our free time as we all need a short break after the tiring day of the entire day. They facilitate us with a great platform to share ideas, knowledge and unite on various topics of national importance like building of dams, corruption, growing population, education of every class of Indian society and so on. They offer campus events, news, and knowledge on current affairs and thus are a good way to obtain information. They help in spreading awareness about social evils, preventive measures of certain illnesses, they warn us about the unethical people who may pose great harm to innocent teenagers, etc. Social networking in the right hands leads to constructive progress whereas the same in the wrong hands leads to a destructive one. Being evil is a choice that man has. It so happens that man becomes blinded by the power of it, which leads to the eventual destruction of his soul. If one cannot develop and rule over these sites, one becomes its slave. But if one can, these sites become one’s slaves. After all, it is man who created social networking sites and not these sites who created man. In the end, we punish a murderer, and not his knife! - Aishwarya Dharmadhikari
Counter View It`s said that excess of everything is bad which is what I want to point out here. I have nothing against facebook, myspace or bebo, however my point is that we should consider the effects of excessive use of social networking websites. Of course there is always a way to use such sites in a healthy productive manner, however my point is that we should consider the effects of excessive use of social networking websites. The negative effects of a new technology is never fully visible in the initial stages due the hype and excitement involved. However with time we observe the more time we spend online the more connected we get and hence the urge to not miss out on anything induces an invisible layer of stress and pressure on the individuals. The very fabric of our societies are now beginning to take a new shape. On Twitter the conversation never stops. You start to feel that if you’re not involved in it, you’re missing out. It could be a whole new source of unhappiness. The concept of a personal
private life is also at stake now. Even if people are not using these social networking websites, their pictures might be on them without their knowledge. Social networking websites are also causing alarming changes in the brains of young users. Sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Bebo are said to shorten attention spans and make young people more self-centered. It should be noted that everything has its positives and negatives. We should be aware of these harmful effects and use these websites accordingly. While social networking has clearly demonstrable negative impacts, it is most likely here to stay. Deciding whether you will use social networking is an individual choice. By using it responsibly , you can harness the benefits of social networking while avoiding the drawbacks.
6 The Tech Pep We mostly relate technology to science, engineering and computers which however is not that accurate because technology is definitely a lot more beyond our imaginations and thinking; it can be involved in arts, agriculture, economic development and wherever we can see involvement of machinery and hardware . Modern technology has introduced considerable changes in our lives and has had a massive impact. However the journey of new innovations and inventions is not over. Technology is an endless stream of amazing possibilities and we perhaps can expect probably more from the future generations. Some of them can even change the world; spawning entire new industries and making everyone slap their heads and say “duh! Why didn’t we think of that?” Smart
Perhaps taking a clue from this idea, NASA is now developing spacecraft powered by commercial smart phones. Isn’t that amazing? They aim to develop prototype
nanosatellites built around HTC handsets. Did this shoot your heads of? Probably yes! Technology NASA envisions using its
phones…? Smartphone and tablets, which include exceptionally innovative features, are the next replacement of computers. I must say that they are no more limited to our pockets. “The smartphone in your pocket has more computing power than the spacecraft that took the Apollo 11 astronauts to the moon!”
PhoneSats for future Earth observation missions and spaceflight technology testing. What can be a better example of our shooting technology!
Technology : The Old and The New Mobile Phones VS Landline These days, going out without a mobile phone, is almost like walking out of the house without your pants on. You can’t carry the landline with you everywhere you
unless it’s connected to an endless length of cable. Modern mobiles have so many features which were beyond imagination in olden days- apps, messaging, camera, and internetall in a box! It is a fact that having a mobile phone now a days is a sort of necessity and it is an inevitable truth that mobile industry is taking everyone’s mind by a storm. And I am sure you would never look cool in a nightclub with a landline stuck to your ear!!
Maps VS GPS In our modern life we set off with our in-car GPS, and don’t even bear to think about using a paper-based map. Honestly a paper based map will never update itself and will have to be republished every time. It’s definitely better to use a GPS (Global Positioning System) rather mingle up your brains searching for routes in huge maps.. Internet Emailing Vs old traditional mail systems Sending emails is faster, instant and inexpensive! One can send, programs, pictures, downloaded apps, and lots more via this media at an instant. Who would want it take weeks
and months for messages to travel across the state (and not the world) Earlier there was no access of countries to each other but internet made it possible! So life without emailing is next to impossible!
