No matter what the situation, it is always imperative that you put that right foot in front of the left and tune into getting your best wellness shoes on leading into conception. Of course, babies are conceived in all kinds of scenarios, sometimes without ‘planning’ or warning! What counts most is that at the time of you consciously knowing, be it pre-conception or pregnancy, that’s the best time to focus on wellness and fertility. We’re not living in the same world our parents did. Food quality is different, stress is much higher, couples are having babies later and there are a lot of influences on our health that come at a cost to our wellness. It is however, important to appreciate the bottom line; that is, our bodies do need a certain level of care if we are going to conceive with ease, and this extends from natural fertility right through to IVF and assisted conception. Setting yourself up for a healthy pregnancy isn’t too dissimilar to setting yourself up to thrive on a day to day basis, although our motives tend to shift as we move into the time of conception. There are many factors that are important to really give yourself the best chance of a stressfree pregnancy.
