WERRI — NO fewer than 350 Nigerian stu dents in public tertiary institutions were, yesterday, in Owerri, awarded scholarship by MTN Foundation. The recipients included 58 blind students. Addressing the beneficiaries, the Foundation’s Director, Mr. Dennis Okoro, explained that the establishment will award scholarships to a total of 1,087 science students and 171 blind students this year. Noting that this was the establishment’s fourth science and technology scholarship and second award for blind students, Okoro also explained that the impact was beyond statistics and figures. “It is about shaping Nigeria’s future through education.
