With the creation of the Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame, the community is formally recognizing the numerous athletes, coaches and administrators who have given so much to their sport and their community. Its official opening in November 2010 brought together many competitors, young and old, happy to celebrate the joy of participation and competition.
