163. “Nautilus II” Harper Goff Original Concept Painting. (Disney, c.1990s) An original painting featuring a concept for the “Nautilus II” by Imagineer Harper Goff. This interpretation by Goff depicts an alternate version of the Nautilus, stylized to a more modern interpretation of Captain Nemo’s vessel. This painting, from Goff’s estate, was created by taking a print copy of Goff’s line art, adhering it to an artist’s board backing, then heavily painting over the print to color the artwork. All of the color and paint is original, and many areas of the line art has also been re-inked or enhanced. The resulting painting is a one-of-a-kind work of art from the mind of Harper Goff. Measuring 14”x23.25”, the original painting is in good condition overall with a couple of scratches near the left-edge, and minor wear from use. $800-$1,000
