Let her know your desire is to learn more about her boyfriend and that you want to include her in your Thanksgiving plans, taking into account your extended family Thanksgiving traditions. Let her know her boyfriend is welcome and you want to understand and respect his plans as well. Explain that you need an answer for your family preparation and planning, and by when. The earliest Thanksgiving traditions are all about sharing and celebrating the gifts that each of us bring to the table. A happy Thanksgiving to you and whomever you may share it with, and in whatever form it may take. Email your questions for Dana to dana.greyson@gmail. com.
