We are excited to kick off our brand new printmaking department this spring! Generally, printmaking is the process of pulling multiple impressions of an image, with the exception of monoprinting. Participants will learn to use a press to complete monoprint, intaglio, and relief works. Make sure to be a part of our inaugural printmaking course! Paper samples will be provided on the first day, all other paper supplies must be purchased separately.
Even in the digital age, we are still drawn to the magic of traditional black and white photography. Learn the basics of your film camera, sharpen your composition skills, and start developing and printing from black and white negatives. Students must provide their own camera. Two rolls of film and one package of paper are included in class fee.
