An Invitation to Get Messy Authentic learning happens here! While our surroundings may be calm and pristine, we believe that learning is an exhilarating and messy process; full of mistakes to be embraced and opportunities to be pursued. Every student at UWCT is encouraged to stretch their boundaries in a way that results in authentic learning through personal challenge.
Through a scaffold of activities and experiences that allow for skill development and eventual mastery, our students learn to stretch their boundaries during outdoor education, after school activities, extended-essay research, and planning a week-long service project. Each year our students realise what we know already: they are capable of much more than they think. As a result of these experiences, UWCT graduates witness first-hand the impact they can have on the wider world, and they leave our campus understanding the transformational power of life-long learning.
