UW Bothell MBA February 2012 - Newsletter Welcome to your first issue of the new and improved MBA Newsletter! For some time now we have been working on a way, other than email (which we are using for this issue), to distribute our MBA Newsletter. In the past this was a vital communication link to both Alumni and Students providing helpful information regarding upcoming events and job opportunities. We hope that by making this newsletter available to you via Word Press, which is a secure online environment through our MBA website, we can resume this communication with you. I have received many emails and phone calls requesting an update on Don’s health and potential return to work. Don is holding his own and undergoing another round of Chemotherapy with Radiation treatment at this time. His leave has been extended to June. If you would like to send him a note, you may send it to me and I will pass it on as always. I will begin registering you for Spring Quarter on February 17th. Summer Quarter registration will begin on April 16th. Summer Quarter Courses are electives so you will register for those on your own. If you are a 2nd year student, and have completed the required number of course credits to graduate in June, 2012, you will need to apply to graduate through your MyGrad Student page between now and March 4th. If you will be graduating in August, 2012, you will need to apply between March 26th and May 27th. Whether you graduate in June 2012 or August 2012, please note that you will all be invited to attend the MBA Graduation Celebration Friday evening, June 9th at the Overlake Golf Club and the Official UW Bothell Commencement ceremonies on Sunday afternoon, June 10th. Please mark your calendars for Friday evening, April 20th, 6 -8 pm, to join us for a special Alumni/Student Networking and Reunion Evening. Network with UWB MBA/MMgt Alumni and Students (all are invited) and celebrate the Reunion of the MBA/MMgt Class of 2002 (10 yrs) and MBA Class of 2007 (5 years)! More information will be coming soon. I hope all is going well for you. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns. ~ Kathryn Upcoming Events & Information:
