Everyday Math

Calling all young minds with a curiosity for numbers! Learn mathematical concepts, including patterning, place value, shapes and estimating, to solve problems and challenges. Please note this is not a skill-building class. Children must know and recognize numbers 1-10 before class begins.

This class is designed to engage you with stimulating mathematical themes and objects you encounter every day. We provide explicit instruction and age-appropriate activities that encourage you to think about, talk about and explore math concepts and skills. This class explores place value, fact families, telling time to the hour and half-hour, and generating numeric patterns.

Graphing, charting and organizing data can be a lot of fun. Discover many things to graph, such as gummy worms, M&M’s, the number of times you can hop on one foot and more! Please let us know if your child is allergic to any foods before the start of class.

From doing puzzles to rearranging your room, you probably use geometry more than you realize. Discover mathematical relationships through explorations and demonstrations. Improve your spatial sense and understanding of geometric concepts.

Computer Skills for Kids

Gobble Up Math

In this class you learn some basic computer skills such as keyboarding, Microsoft Office and safe internet exploring. Please note that by registering for this class you provide permission for your child to access the internet.

In this class it’s okay to play with your food! You’ll eat up activities about patterns, measurements, fractions and geometry. What a delicious way to learn about math! Please let us know if your child is allergic to any foods before the start of class.

In this class you are the mayor of your own cities and learn how to create your own micro societies. Build a city from the ground up and complete challenges that test your ability to deal with budget concerns, traffic, zoning, pollution and maybe even aliens from above.
