Professional Advancement Ceremony 2010 The college’s annual Professional Advancement Ceremony, the traditional ‘white coat’ ceremony to induct P1 students into the professional division, was held on the Health Science Campus this year. The 2010 P1 class will be the first class to complete their professional education in the college’s new facility, surrounded by their health science peers. Many of the new professional division students were supported by White Coat Mentors who sponsored the purchase of lab coats and had the opportunity to share UT memories with the students. This year, the third year of the White Coat Mentor program, the college saw an increase in the number of mentors supporting students in this unique way and offering their mentorship and support of the students throughout their professional years.
