The University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business was founded in 1917 and focuses on educating students in the classroom and through hands-on learning opportunities. The Eccles School enrolls about 6,000 students in its eight undergraduate majors, four MBAs, six other specialized graduate programs, one PhD program, and executive education curricula. It is also home to seven institutes and centers that support an ecosystem of entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation, including the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute, Ken C. Gardner Policy Institute, Sorenson Impact Center, and more. Now, 31,000 Eccles School alumni live and work in all 50 states and many countries worldwide. Our faculty members boast impressive professional and educational backgrounds and hold PhDs from esteemed universities including University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School, Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and University of California at Berkeley’s Haas School.

Dr. Abe Bakhsheshy is a Bill Daniels Professor of Ethics focusing in Organizational Behavior who brings more than 35 years of management experience to the classroom. He has been recognized over a dozen times at the university level for teaching excellence.

Dr. Teresa Pavia is Chair of the Marketing Department and Associate Professor of Marketing who has been recognized for her strong teaching skills and cutting-edge research in product management and the intersection between consumer behavior and health care.

Dr. Kristina Diekmann is Chair of the Management Department and Professor of Management and Business Ethics, with research published in over two dozen refereed journals. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Brian Cadman is an Associate Professor of Accounting who, prior to joining our faculty, was on the faculty at both Kellogg and Wharton. His research focuses on compensation design and performance measurement and has been cited in a recent SEC ruling. 5
