Director's Message

big congratulations to each one of my titleholders for their hard work and dedication during their journey to the crown. This is an amazing sisterhood and opportunity to empower women to reach their goals and dreams, setting an example for others.

Through community involvement and service, our titleholders have made a difference across the state. These are passionate, caring women who have answered the call to serve--from packing boxes of Christmas gifts for children in developing countries, to serving at missions, and collecting necessities for homeless, to speaking out for women's equality, the rights of foster and adopted youth, and educating women about cancer and other health issues. Tonight, we will crown four lucky ladies as our United States of America's Teen, Miss, Ms. and Mrs. Arizona. Each of our local titleholders have taken a leap of faith and a desire to achieve more--and their success in the community is greater than the risk of not winning the state crown. For that, each one deserves to celebrate with pride their place on the stage tonight....their willingness to put themselves "out there" in the spotlight--to be evaluated but also to represent their city and be a role model for other women. I entered the world of pageantry late in my life, but it has been a rich and fulfilling endeavor, full of lifelong friends, support, and the opportunity to uplift and empower other women. Great job queens! I am so proud of each of you! Kella Your Arizona Exectuive Director WWW.USOAMISSARIZONA.COM

Jennifer Ruddle MRS. PHOENIX To my husband, Brian - When we said our vows 16 years ago, I do t think either of us knew just how much they would be tested. For better or worse - we make each other laugh and we drive each other crazy, and it’s exactly what we both need. For richer or poorer - we’ve been up and we’ve been down, but we’ve always made it through. In sickness and in health - this goes so far beyond the flu. I am alive today because of you. There are no words to express my gratitude for the way you took care of me when I needed you most. To love and to cherish, till death do us part - There’s no one else I’d rather do this life with. I love you most. To my sponsors - Commercial Properties Inc., Dr. Shane Lipskind/Arizona Center for Fertility Studies, Tryst Cafe, Covet & Mane, National Bank of Arizona, Leavitt Group and Recruiting Connection thank you for your belief in me. Support our Scholarship Program

Empower women to reach their potential.

In today’s climate — when higher education is so important for employment and social mobility, but the costs are so high for young people coming of age in a recession — competing for money in the United States of America pageant is a great option to earn scholarships for professional development. Our scholarships for state titleholders provide professional development and educational opportunities to learn and grow.
