MITNA, a compound Cebuano word phrase, "mithi sa huna-huna," meaning the earnest wish of the mind, is the official literary folio of FORWARD. It contains a collection of thoughts from the richness of literature.
The MITNA was first introduced in 2007 when FORWARD celebrated its sixtieth year anniversary. Its publication ceased thereafter.
Eleven years from then and in line with the seventieth year celebration of FORWARD, the literary articles were moved permanently from the FORWARD magazine to the literary readers in a variety of literature, from short stories to poetry. MITNA turns the pages of surrealism to mirror the reality plagued by poverty and social injustice.
Savor the beauty and words and the grandeur of thoughts as you dive deeper into the minds of various authors. Indulge in the bittersweet aftertaste of stories that would tickle the mind and touch the heart. Contemplate the beauty of life.
Be entranced, this is MITNA!
