The Purpose Of The Little Brother/Little Sister Organization Is To Match Students At URI With Children In The Surrounding Area Who Need A Friend, A Role Model, A Person To Do Things With Or Just Someone To Talk To. The Majority Of The Time Spent Is On A One On One Basis But There Are Events Done As An Organization During The Year In Which All The "Bigs" And All The "Littles" Get Together For An Activity. Some Of These Events Include Halloween Parties, Hayrides, RoUerskating Parties And Easter Parties. The Leadership Of Little Brother/Little Sister Is Made Up On An Executive Committee Which Is Elected By Vote Of Active Members In The Program. This Organization Has Direct Affiliations With Big Brother And Big Sister Of Rhode Island.
