Urban Prophets Illustrated

Urban Prophets Illustrated is a vessel for imagination, critique, inquiry, activism, and rest in the form of a printed zine. We curate creative submissions in the mediums of illustration, photography, prose, poetry, and augmented reality to center the voices of community members, cultural workers, artists, and small businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area. Urban Prophets Illustrated is a printed Fanzine curated to include the work of multiple artists -illustration, photography, literary, augmented reality, and intervention-. This printed publication centers members of the community, cultural workers and spaces, artists, and small businesses. Born out of the Mission Arts and Performance Project, its distributed primarily in the SF Bay Area and on occasion other cities (NYC, Austin, Chicago, Mexico City and Buenos Aires). We call artists creating healing beauty, expressing the truth they see around the world & within themselves to share their prophecies with us.
