D

uring the planning of this Reinvention Issue, we found it Ladies, we kept you in mind when we chose the multi-talented Tank necessary to take things a step further than the predictable self- for our cover. He too has a story of reinvention and along with his improvement messages that bombard us all every New Year. editorial; you are assured to enjoy every image we captured. Messages of eat this, don’t eat that, wear this and don’t wear that are on display for the first three months of every year—just long enough for the curse of broken resolutions to work it’s black magic. Rather than telling what to do, sharing a message of inspiration is our mission for this issue. We spent time with several individuals and wrote their stories of reinvention and survival. Conquering homelessness, weight issues, illness and gossip represent just a fraction of their success stories. Their bigger message is that of perseverance.
