Introduction

At Urban Compass, we seek to elevate the substance of real estate brokerage by helping our clients navigate through the complex process of selling, buying, or leasing with innovative technology and experienced agents. Our company was founded in 2012 with a mission of bringing together best in-class professionals across real estate, technology, and business to improve traditional brokerage. Our founders brought complementary skills and experiences—Ori Allon, a talented technologist who started and sold companies to Google and Twitter, and Robert Reffkin, an ex-Goldman Sachs leader who was a White House Fellow and founded a national mentorship organization. The investor base consists of leading financial institutions, successful entrepreneurs and real estate owners. Urban Compass brings a modern approach to all aspects of the business. We have developed leading technology, which enables a faster, easier, and more data-driven real estate process. We appreciate the indispensable role that great advisors play in real estate decision-making and have selectively built a team of talented, entrepreneurial agents. Our tools and the exceptional agents they helped attract have enabled our rapid ascension to the leading position for both online and mobile traffic among New York brokerages. Our services begin well before a transaction and continue indefinitely afterwards. We have developed a proprietary network of global buyers, market intelligence to empower developers and partnerships that add value after one buys, sells or leases a property.
