FINDING RIPTIDE Hello Everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent my weekend reminiscing about the wonderful date I went on with my main squeeze to Steak Night at Bruff Commons Dining Room. We whiled the night away with BBQ Shrimp on Low-Country Grit Cakes and Applewood Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon Topped with Red Wine Mushroom Demi-Grace served over Boursin Mashed Potatoes, ending with a sumptuous Crème Brulee by pastry chef Nicole Honore. After winning some boyfriend points with my lady, I decided to hook up my Splashcard with some Wavebuck$ at Dining Services’ Cash Cube Bonanza event. After adding $50.00 to my Wavebuck$ account, I got a free trip to the Cash Cube, and grabbed enough Riptide bucks to walk away with another $75 to add to my account! This week marks the return of Gourmet Grill on Gibson Quad. This Tuesday the Uptown Campus Dining chefs will be serving up Grilled Chipotle Chicken Burritos with Baja Black Beans, Cilantro Lime Rice, Cheddar Jack Cheese, Sour Cream, and Salsa on a Chipotle Wrap, Sweet BBQ Pork Sandwiches topped with Cole Slaw and served on toasted French Bread, and Grilled Vegetable and Hummus

Wraps with Red Peppers, Green Peppers, Asparagus, Mushrooms, Onions, Basil, and Garlic on a Wheat Tortilla. On Wednesday, you can find me soaking up some delicious Abita Root Beer at Bruff Commons Dining Room’s Annual Kegs in Caf event. Root Beer floats and a variety of mouth-watering dishes infused with Abita Root Beer will be available all day. Starting this week, reusable bags, made with 100% recycled content, will be available at all dining registers around campus!
