Last December our friends from HoeNalu organized a specific SUP Downwind camp for riders with medium-high level, in one of the points of Europe with better conditions for the practice of this discipline, the beaches of Tarifa, in the Gibraltar Strait.

As host they had Fred Bonnef, rider of the Fanatic International team, who guided the participants in the different planned courses and did all the coaching. Fred is a great connoisseur of the environment and pioneer of Downwinds in the area. He has a lot of experience in this modality through the numerous events he organized or in which he participated as a competitor. Seven riders from different areas of Spain and France were lucky to enjoy spectacular conditions during the three days of the camp. HoeNalu told that these camps will be repeated throughout the year 2020 and that they are even preparing several for inexperienced people who want to start in the Downwind mode and more surprises for next year related to SUP activities.
