As per the Boeing 20-Year Forecast, while global air cargo would reach 509 billion Revenue Tonne Kilometers (RTKs) by 2035, i.e. twice that seen in 2015, at an annual average rate of 4.2 percent, Asia would lead the growth with China, intra-Asia, and Indian market expanding at the highest rates of 6.2 per cent, 5.5 per cent and 6.7 per cent per annum respectively.
