University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America, Inc. 24-09 Cambridge Road Fair Lawn, NJ 07410 Dear Friends: I am pleased to offer a warm welcome to the dedicated officers and members of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America, Inc., esteemed guest Mr. Danilo Concepcion, President of the University of the Philippines, and all those gathered here today at UPAAA's 19th Grand Reunion and Convention. I wish you a successful and productive convention as you Renew old friendships, Reflect on life's journey over the years and Rejoice in the many ways you have collectively made a positive difference in the lives of others. In Fair Lawn, New Jersey, we are blessed to have Nelsie Parrado, a good friend and distinguished resident of the Borough, who has served others in so many ways. Through her leadership as one of the founders and past president of the Filipino-American Association of Fair Lawn, past president of Sunrise Rotary Club of Fair Lawn, and current president of UPAAA, Nelsie has touched so many lives in so many ways. From providing supplies for those touched by tragedy in the Philippines to awarding academic scholarships to deserving students at Fair Lawn High School, we are so proud to have her as a member of our community. On behalf of the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Fair Lawn, please accept my sincere best wishes for continued success in UPAAA's future endeavors. Your efforts are sincerely appreciated.
