English as a Second Language Program Homestay Program Become a homestay host and bring a little culture into your home. Homestay is a great way for ESL students from all over the world to learn about Canada and its multi-cultural society. It allows them to become part of a family and feel comfortable in a safe environment. “We started hosting University of Regina ESL students

away. It is a source of delight as we make so many new friends. We have hosted a number of students over the years, and each one is different. Through the students, we learn about their homes and cultures, and are able to show them a little of our culture as well. We especially enjoy having the opportunity to take them to see some of the more scenic parts of this beautiful country.” If you’re interested in learning how you can become a Homestay host, visit www.uregina.ca/esl.
